What Time Is It? Rev:

What time is it? (12/7/2008)
Only the Father knows the day and hour (Matt 24:36) -
But we should know the season -
the season - Deuteronomy 16:6; Hosea 2:9; Mark 12:2; Luke 20:10;
From Perry Stone's program
Program #426The Mystery of the Parable of the Fig Tree
Parable of the Fig Tree-
Fig tree in Song of Solomon-
Son 2:8 The voice of my beloved! behold, he cometh leaping upon the mountains, skipping upon the hills.
Second coming
(1 Thessalonians 4:17) Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Time -season -
Son 2:11 For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone;
Son 2:12 The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land;
Son 2:13 The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.
"Arise", "come away" - do these pretain to the rapture? (See seperate study)
(Study on sequence of salvation and then redemption)
Prophesies in Song of Soloman -
Early and latter rain-
(James 5:7) Be patient therefore, brethren, unto the coming of the Lord. Behold, the husbandman waiteth for the precious fruit of the earth, and hath long patience for it, until he receive the early and latter rain.
latter rain - Deuteronomy 11:14; Job 29:23; Proverbs 16:15; Jeremiah 3:3; Joel 2:23; Zechariah 10:1; James 5:7;
Rapture?
Where does the parable of the 10 virgins fit in?
Where does the Joel prophecy of Holy Spirit fit in?
Was it the "Pentacostal Movement" beginning in Wales and England in the mid to latter 1800's?
Continueing in America in the early to mid 1900's?
And into China and Asia in the last half of the 1900's?
See "Tongues explained away"
Added 12/14/2008
Just read an article posted on Biblical Discernment Ministries http://www.rapidnet.com/~jbeard/bdm/ on the evaluation of Christmas Selections in the Living Hymns Hymnal.
What interested me was :
"The Oxford Movement, an attempt to make the Anglican Church in England even more liturgical ("High Church") in reaction to the evangelical influence, began in England in 1833. --- They published probably the most influential Protestant hymnbook ever -- Hymns Ancient and Modern -- in 1861, which marked the end of predominant Psalm-singing."
Note the dates.
Remember the prophecies associated with the return of Jews to Israel.
In Ezekial - the dry bones (the Holocaust?)
A nation reborn-
The 2 World Wars time frame of early to mid 1900's.
Where does the great falling away (apostasy) fit in?
See "Apostasy is falling away".
See "Why pray for peace of Jerusalem"
SoS 3:3 - watchman, SoS 5:7
Other:
SoS 3:1 --- I sought him, but I found him not.
Also in Peter - find later?
Hab 3:17-19
--- fig tree shall not blossom -
Is this God's fore-knowledge that -
Israel will not accept the Lord and preach the gospel?
--- neither shall fruit be in the vines; --
Even though we, as Gentiles, are grafted into the vine; we - the Gentiles /or Greeks /or the church will not be the witness it should be also? We are not strong enough to have fruit. There is no boldness as there was in the 1st century church and again as record in history books as Maryter's Mirror and Foxes Book of Martyers.
(1 Thessalonians 2:2) But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with much contention.
--- the labour of the olive shall fail ----
(olive oil - oil of anointing - oil of joy - is this the Holy Spirit? which was sent at Pentecost but many still do not believe?)
because God gave every man the freedom to choose-
(Deuteronomy 30:19) I call heaven and earth to record this day against you, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life, that both thou and thy seed may live:
Will many not choose the Lord? and grieve the Holy Spirit?
--- and the fields shall yield no meat;
See parables of the scattering of the seed in Matt 13:5-7, Mark 4:4-7, Luke 8:5-7.
What are these last two?
Proverbs 27:23
(23) Be thou diligent to know the state of thy flocks, and look well to thy herds.
What does it mean to be diligent?
1st mention is: Exodus 15:26
(26) And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee.
(See healing and salvation "You believe ___ but do not believe the rest"
--- the flock shall be cut off from the fold-
Could this be the aborted babies and sodomite perversion?
--- and there shall be no herd in the stalls:- Why is a herd in the stall, but to be fed and protected and "comforted".
Or could the last one be "the great falling away"? because of lack of food from the "new bible versions" and the pulpits.
Habakkuk 3:18-19
(18) Yet I will rejoice in the LORD, I will joy in the God of my salvation.
(19) The LORD God is my strength, and he will make my feet like hinds' feet, and he will make me to walk upon mine high places. To the chief singer on my stringed instruments.
Exodus 15:2; Joshua 14:11; 2 Samuel 22:33; Job 6:11, 12; Psalms 28:7; 118:14; Isaiah 12:2; Habakkuk 3:19;
Exodus 15:2
(2) The LORD is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation: he is my God, and I will prepare him an habitation; my father's God, and I will exalt him.
The Godhead is revealed to Moses and us
here:
Strength: = Father
Song: = Spirit (how about singing in the spirit - in tongues -)
Salvation: = Son (Acts 4:12 & Eph 1:13)
It is time.
(Psalms 119:126) It is time for thee, LORD, to work: for they have made void thy law.
(Jeremiah 51:33) For thus saith the LORD of hosts, the God of Israel; The daughter of Babylon is like a threshingfloor, it is time to thresh her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest shall come.
(Hosea 10:12) Sow to yourselves in righteousness, reap in mercy; break up your fallow ground: for it is time to seek the LORD, till he come and rain righteousness upon you.
(1 Peter 1:7) That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
(2 Peter 3:14) Wherefore, beloved, seeing that ye look for such things, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot, and blameless.

Blogging my study of God's Word

This is actually being modified on Tuesday evening, 12/9/2008, to see what else I can change.
And again on Wednesday evening, 12/10/2008.
==============================================
The following is one of my Bible studies. I use e-sword for these studies. But they may also contain information from other sources. That would be something for me to show sometime later - my library and a general list.

We are reminded quite often in the church we attend "to tithe" and "prove God". We are to told to study and "prove God's Word". So is there any thing else we are "to prove"? How about "are we proved"?
These are statements and questions which put a desire in me to study in depth God's Word.
These also raise other questions which may be referenced within one study for another study.

Prove all things
(Exodus 16:4) Then said the LORD unto Moses, Behold, I will rain bread from heaven for you; and the people shall go out and gather a certain rate every day, that I may prove them, whether they will walk in my law, or no.

(Exodus 20:20) And Moses said unto the people, Fear not: for God is come to prove you, and that his fear may be before your faces, that ye sin not.

(Deuteronomy 8:2) And thou shalt remember all the way which the LORD thy God led thee these forty years in the wilderness, to humble thee, and to prove thee, to know what was in thine heart, whether thou wouldest keep his commandments, or no.

(Deuteronomy 8:16) Who fed thee in the wilderness with manna, which thy fathers knew not, that he might humble thee, and that he might prove thee, to do thee good at thy latter end;

(Deuteronomy 33:8) And of Levi he said, Let thy Thummim and thy Urim be with thy holy one, whom thou didst prove at Massah, and with whom thou didst strive at the waters of Meribah;

(Judges 2:22) That through them I may prove Israel, whether they will keep the way of the LORD to walk therein, as their fathers did keep it, or not.

(Judges 3:1) Now these are the nations which the LORD left, to prove Israel by them, even as many of Israel as had not known all the wars of Canaan;

(Judges 3:4) And they were to prove Israel by them, to know whether they would hearken unto the commandments of the LORD, which he commanded their fathers by the hand of Moses.

See Timothy for '-all Scripture is good for ---"
Also find: '-written of old for our example--?"

(Judges 6:39) And Gideon said unto God, Let not thine anger be hot against me, and I will speak but this once: let me prove, I pray thee, but this once with the fleece; let it now be dry only upon the fleece, and upon all the ground let there be dew.

(1 Kings 10:1) And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon concerning the name of the LORD, she came to prove him with hard questions.

(2 Chronicles 9:1) And when the queen of Sheba heard of the fame of Solomon, she came to prove Solomon with hard questions at Jerusalem, with a very great company, and camels that bare spices, and gold in abundance, and precious stones: and when she was come to Solomon, she communed with him of all that was in her heart.

(Job 9:20) If I justify myself, mine own mouth shall condemn me: if I say, I am perfect, it shall also prove me perverse.

(Psalms 26:2) Examine me, O LORD, and prove me; try my reins and my heart.

(Ecclesiastes 2:1) I said in mine heart, Go to now, I will prove thee with mirth, therefore enjoy pleasure: and, behold, this also is vanity.

Do study on 'heart'; '--it is wicked--'; '--hide in my heart--'

(Daniel 1:12) Prove thy servants, I beseech thee, ten days; and let them give us pulse to eat, and water to drink.

See seperate study on why it is not "slave" as written in other books.

(Malachi 3:10) Bring ye all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be meat in mine house, and prove me now herewith, saith the LORD of hosts, if I will not open you the windows of heaven, and pour you out a blessing, that there shall not be room enough to receive it.

This brings up other study topics, such as:
What is the storehouse? today? mine house?
Where is 'contentment'?

(Luke 14:19) And another said, I have bought five yoke of oxen, and I go to prove them: I pray thee have me excused.

(John 6:6) And this he said to prove him: for he himself knew what he would do.

(Acts 24:13) Neither can they prove the things whereof they now accuse me.

(Acts 25:7) And when he was come, the Jews which came down from Jerusalem stood round about, and laid many and grievous complaints against Paul, which they could not prove.

(Romans 12:2) And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

So "we don't know what God's will is today"? And where does the Scriptures tell us to pray "if it be thy will"?

(2 Corinthians 8:8) I speak not by commandment, but by occasion of the forwardness of others, and to prove the sincerity of your love.

(2 Corinthians 13:5) Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

(Galatians 6:4) But let every man prove his own work, and then shall he have rejoicing in himself alone, and not in another.

(1 Thessalonians 5:21) Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.

Try me
(Psalms 139:23) Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts:(Psalms 139:24) And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting.

Photo: FIRE OR THE GLORY OF GOD?

This photo was taken facing east in the front of our home. The lower storm clouds were overhead and in the west.
That brings up the subject for a study - the title of the photo.

Fish, Salad, Beans - (This was what was for dinner)

Now on to some activity in the animal world.

Gen 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

Oh, and then it looks like in the latter days must have not liked what Adam called them. Or was it just a Dr. WHO change?
Isaiah 34:1-17 NKJV (A Dr. WHO book)

1 Come near, you nations, to hear; And heed, you people! Let the earth hear, and all that is in it, The world and all things that come forth from it. 2 For the indignation of the LORD is against all nations, And His fury against all their armies; He has utterly destroyed them, He has given them over to the slaughter. 3 Also their slain shall be thrown out; Their stench shall rise from their corpses, And the mountains shall be melted with their blood. 4 All the host of heaven shall be dissolved, And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll; All their host shall fall down As the leaf falls from the vine, And as fruit falling from a fig tree. 5 “ For My sword shall be bathed in heaven; Indeed it shall come down on Edom, And on the people of My curse, for judgment. 6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, It is made overflowing with fatness, With the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah, And a great slaughter in the land of Edom. 7 The wild oxen shall come down with them, And the young bulls with the mighty bulls; Their land shall be soaked with blood, And their dust saturated with fatness.” 8 For it is the day of the LORD’s vengeance, The year of recompense for the cause of Zion. 9 Its streams shall be turned into pitch, And its dust into brimstone; Its land ()shall become burning pitch. 10 It shall not be quenched night or day; Its smoke shall ascend forever. From generation to generation it shall lie waste; No one shall pass through it forever and ever. 11 But the pelican and the porcupine shall possess it, Also the owl and the raven shall dwell in it. And He shall stretch out over it The line of confusion and the stones of emptiness. 12 They shall call its nobles () to the kingdom, But none shall be there, and all its princes shall be nothing. 13 And thorns shall come up in its palaces, Nettles and brambles in its fortresses; It shall be a habitation of jackals, A courtyard for ostriches. 14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with () the jackals, And the wild goat shall bleat to its companion; Also the night creature shall rest there, And find for herself a place of rest. 15 There the arrow snake shall make her nest and lay eggs And hatch, and gather them under her shadow; There also shall the hawks be gathered, Every one with her mate. 16 “ Search from the book of the LORD, and read: Not one of these shall fail; Not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them. 17 He has cast the lot for them, And His hand has divided it among them with a measuring line. They shall possess it forever; From generation to generation they shall dwell in it.”
- Is the above confusing? Was it willfully so? Is it a small or large lie?

The following is what the True Word of God says:
Isaiah 34:1-17 KJV
Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.
(2) For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
(3) Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
(4) And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
(5) For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.
(6) The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
(7) And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
(8) For it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
(9) And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.
(10) It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.
(11) But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.
(12) They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing.
(13) And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.
(14) The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.
(15) There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.
(16) Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
(17) And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.
