Are the major doctrines to be found in the various bible translations?
Who determines whether they are 'major' doctrines?
Who determines whether they are 'doctrines'?
In how many bible translations does one have to search?
Does one have to know language other then English (for those that speak English)?

Scripture text 4_19_2009

Romans 10:14-21
1 Corinthians 11:23-30

Searching for the true Word of God.
Is major doctrine found in various bibles?

Where is the gospel “of peace”?
(NIV) And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"[
(NASV) How will they preach unless they are sent? Just as it is written, "HOW BEAUTIFUL ARE THE FEET OF THOSE WHO BRING GOOD NEWS OF GOOD THINGS!"
(NLT) And how will anyone go and tell them without being sent? That is what the Scriptures mean when they say, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring good news!"
(ESV) And how are they to preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach the good news!"
(CEV) And how can anyone tell them without being sent by the Lord? The Scriptures say it is a beautiful sight to see even the feet of someone coming to preach the good news.
(1901 ASV) and how shall they preach, except they be sent? even as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that bring glad tidings of good things!
(NLV) And how can someone tell them if he is not sent? The Holy Writings say, "The feet of those who bring the Good News are beautiful."
(HCSB) And how can they preach unless they are sent? As it is written: How welcome are the feet of those who announce the gospel of good things
(NCV) and before someone can go and tell them, that person must be sent. It is written, "How beautiful is the person who comes to bring good news."
(RSV) And how can men preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who preach good news!"
(NAB-Roman Catholic) And how can people preach unless they are sent? As it is written, "How beautiful are the feet of those who bring (the) good news!"
(NWT-Jehovah’s Witnesses) How, in turn, will they preach unless they have been sent forth? Just as it is written: “How comely are the feet of those who declare good news of good things!”

Affected Teaching
One of the greatest aspects of the true Gospel is that it not only saves an individual for eternity but it causes a cessation of hostility between God and the saved person. (Rom 5:1 KJV) Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: Before a person becomes saved they are at war with God because of them being in sin but once that person is saved, the war is over and that is why it is called the Gospel of Peace. However, the modern versions omit those two little words which carry with them an immense teaching as we just saw.

The modern versions just about change that truth from the Gospel of peace to good news. What is the difference? The Gospel always speaks about the saving power of the Lord Jesus Christ but when these words are reduced to only “good news” it can take on the meaning of someone is blessed because they bring good news. Now good news can mean that some anchor on a news show is bringing good news (for a change) but does that mean they are blessed for doing so? The answer is no! If God wanted to use the term “good news” instead of “gospel” He could have done so but He chose to separate the Gospel from any intimation or association with worldly news. Once again the King James keeps a proper separation between the two while the modern versions make no distinctions.

Proverbs 30:5 (AV/KJB) Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.

Romans 10:15
(KJV) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? as it is written, How beautiful are the feet of them that preach the gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
(1611 KJV) And how shall they preach, except they be sent? As it is written: How beautifull are the feete of them that preach the Gospel of peace, and bring glad tidings of good things!
(1568 Bishop’s Bible) And howe shall they preache, except they be sent? As it is written: Howe beautifull are the feete of them whiche bryng good tydynges of peace, & bryng good tydynges of good thynges.
(1526 Tyndale) And how shall they preach except they be sent? As it is written: how beautifull are the fete of them which bringe glad tydynges of peace and bringe glad tydynges of good thinges.

1 Corinthians 11:24
(NIV) and when he had given thanks, he broke it and said, “This is my body, which is for you; do this in remembrance of me.”
(HCSB) gave thanks, broke it, and said, "This is My body, which is for you. Do this in remembrance of Me."
(ESV) and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
(1901 ASV) and when he had given thanks, he brake it, and said, This is my body, which is for you: this do in remembrance of me.
(CEV) Then after he had given thanks, he broke it and said, "This is my body, which is given for you. Eat this and remember me."
(RSV) and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body which is for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
(NRSV) and when he had given thanks, he broke it, and said, "This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
(NAB - Roman Catholic) and, after he had given thanks, broke it and said, "This is my body that is for you. Do this in remembrance of me."
(NWT - Jehovah’s Witnesses) and, after giving thanks, he broke it and said: “This means my body which is in YOUR behalf. Keep doing this in remembrance of me.”
(NKJV) confusion by the note: “NU-Text omits preach the gospel of peace, Who.”

Effect
The Greek words for “Take” “Eat” and “Broken” are omitted in the following corrupted manuscripts:
p46, Aleph, A, and B.
The omission of these three vital words removes the heart out of this verse plus it attacks the sacrifice of Christ for His people.
"During the Last Supper, the Lord symbolically broke bread and told His disciples that this represented His body which was going to be broken for them the next day. Breaking bread is not just Christian fellowship but it celebrates the relationship that the true Christian has with the Lord Jesus Christ. That word “broken” was showing that the Lord Jesus was going to suffer much physical pain and suffering, and to remove that word was to remove the reality and severity of what was going to take place. He also made His disciples partakers in His suffering by means of giving them the broken bread. The Bible teaches that we are so intimate with Christ that we are members of His flesh and bones. (Eph 5:30 KJV) For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. When Christ gave them the bread it was telling them that in order for them to become saved it was necessary for Him to suffer and just as each of them tore a piece of the bread, His body would be torn in like manner. (Luke 24:46 KJV) And said unto them, Thus it is written, and thus it behoved Christ to suffer, and to rise from the dead the third day:For the modern versions to omit the fact that Christ’s body was going to be broken for us is to omit the crucifixion. Of course, it follows that the Gnostics of the second century would not believe that the crucifixion of Christ purchased the salvation for all the Elect, so they and their modern counterparts had to exclude this from the text. This verse is normally read along with the rest of 1 Corinthians 11:23-34 on the day when the church celebrates Communion. We are remembering the death and resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ and His anticipated return on the last day. In the marriage ceremony the Bible teaches that the husband‘s body belongs to the wife and the wife’s body belongs to the husband. (1 Cor 7:4 KJV) The wife hath not power of her own body, but the husband: and likewise also the husband hath not power of his own body, but the wife. They are given to each other wholly but the Lord Jesus Christ, in taking His bride, was required to have His body broken according to the Scriptures. So when the word “broken” is omitted, it omits a great spiritual lesson and lessens the sacrifice of Christ. When the words “Take, Eat” are left out, they remove the intimacy that the believer has with the Lord Jesus Christ. (1 Cor 10:17 KJV) For we being many are one bread, and one body: for we are all partakers of that one bread. So the next time one uses a modern version at Communion, you will see the emptiness of those words versus the reality of what took place. You can give your body to someone without suffering. You can give it to them in service or a husband or wife can give it to each other in pleasure but the word “broken” brings a special meaning to a special relationship between Christ and His church. If Christ’s body was not broken, then we are still in our sins." scionofzion.

My Question: Is this major doctrine??

Affected Teachings
"In this verse the Gnostic hit squads removed two very important words, “unworthily” and “Lord’s.” This verse deals with the Lord’s Supper and teaches a very important principle. Those who are unworthy to take the Lord’s Supper are those who are unsaved. (Rev 3:4 KJV) Thou hast a few names even in Sardis which have not defiled their garments; and they shall walk with me in white: for they are worthy. We read in the letter to Sardis that those who have not defiled their garments were worthy. Those who are in Christ are made worthy because of the sacrifice of Christ. 1 Corinthians 11:29 gives a stern warning to those who are unsaved that they drink damnation to themselves simply because they think they are partaking of the Lord’s Supper and this somehow makes them worthy for Heaven. This could not be any farther from the truth. When a person becomes saved they are made worthy and are permitted to take the Lord’s Supper. Unbelievers should never partake in the Lord’s Supper and that is why churches must only give Communion to those who are saved. By removing the word “unworthily” they are opening the door for the belief that all may partake of the Lord’s Supper and that it could be considered some kind of ritual rather than a remembering of the Lord’s sacrifice and looking forward to His return. A great deception takes place when the unworthy are led to believe they are worthy. Then they removed the word “Lord’s” and this once again takes away the specific nature of this verse. The body which is in view is the Lord’s body and no one else’s. Without the word “Lord’s” any body can be in view. It could be the body of any belief system. It could be the body of believers. It could be the church body with unbelievers in it. The Corinthian Christians were guilty of making the Lord’s Supper a common feast instead of looking at the solemnity of it. If a person is a true believer, they will never suffer damnation of Hell since all their sins have been paid for. Unbelievers already have the wrath of God abiding on them. Any Christian who does not understand the deep spiritual and solemn nature of the Lord’s Supper is in danger of being judged by God. Yes, a believer can suffer the judging hand of God. Remember David when he sinned with Bathsheba? The consequence of his sin was the death of his child. This is why we are never to treat communion as something common. By removing “Lord’s” they once again attack the Lord Jesus Christ by removing a specific allusion to His body." scionofzion.

Proverbs 30:5 (AV/KJB) Every word of God is pure: he is a shield unto them that put their trust in him.
(KJV) For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. What about the major doctrine of ‘damnation’?

The Holy Bible (AV/KJV) is THE MAJOR DOCTRINE of God our Father and His Son Jesus.

Tongues explained away
An apology for speaking in tongues
by J. Clements
2/15/2009

(1 Corinthians 14:2) For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God: for no man understandeth him; howbeit in the spirit he speaketh mysteries.
Of those that believe the Bible, many explain away a wonderful and comforting verse.
They say that 'tongue' or 'unknown tongue' really means 'a foreign language'. They use Acts 2; and specifically in Acts 2:6 "... because that every man heard them speak in his own language." --- as proof.
Or they say that 'tongues' which were given at Pentecost and ended with the apostles. They use: 'the writing of Scripture was complete with John and there is no need for "tongues"anymore. Of course none of that is found in Scripture.
What about: (Est 1:22) For he sent letters into all the king's provinces, into every province according to the writing thereof, and to every people after their language, that every man should bear rule in his own house, and that it should be published according to the language of every people.
Side note on the error of the NKJV:
"Then he sent letters to all the king's provinces, to each province in its own script, and to every people in their own language, that each man should be master in his own house, and speak in the language of his own people."
Now there is a reason for missionaries to go give every 'people group' a written language for what they speak.
Okay, back to -
Note what else is gone if that be true.
Or they may say 'tongues' are of the devil. Even the new-age people and the old witch-doctors use them.
Is the devil a fallen angel?
Mat 25:41 Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels:
(2 Corinthians 11:14) And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.
What does Scripture say?
(1Co 13:1) Though I speak with the tongues of men and of angels, and have not charity, I am become as sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal.
Could it be that that in the Asian cultures that use "... sounding brass, or a tinkling cymbal." are using those to speak to "... the devil and his angels:"?
See Ps. 73:1-9,
Consider this: You throw out the 'modern versions' of the bible because they have error. They are 'of the devil'. Did not the modern versions begin in the 1850s? You keep the KJV as the complete, inspired, infallible Word of God. Starting in the early 1900s their began a greater awareness of 'tongues' and other gifts from God. Much of the awareness was due to error and misuse.
So now you throw out, cut out, tear out of the AV/KJV (1 Corinthians 14:2). Could these be because of deception by the devil?
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men. (Ephesians 4:8)
Mark 16:14-20
(14) Afterward he appeared unto the eleven as they sat at meat, and upbraided them with their unbelief and hardness of heart, because they believed not them which had seen him after he was risen.
(15) And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.
(16) He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
(17) And these signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues;
(18) They shall take up serpents; and if they drink any deadly thing, it shall not hurt them; they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
(19) So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.
(20) And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.
But of course there are some who believe these last 12 verses are not really in God's Word. The devil has not been changed into a new creature. He says the same thing:
(Genesis 3:1) Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
Or, some say that you are not saved if you don't give evidence of 'speaking in tongues'.
There are those that say the modern 'tongues' movement, Pentalcosism and charismatics started in the early 1900's in Topeka, KS or at Azusa Street in Los Angeles, CA.
But lets take a step back to the years of the Wesley's and to Jonathan Edwards.
My summary of Wesley's writings in this abridged book is:
One cannot disprove the true working of the Holy Spirit, even of 'tongues', by the extremism, fanasism, or down right foolishness of man's actions.
http://www.letgodbetrue.com/bible/heresies/tongues-have-ceased.htm
God did not lose control of His Word. He did not lose His Word for hundreds of years.
For the gifts and calling of God are without repentance. (Romans 11:29)
To another faith by the same Spirit; to another the gifts of healing by the same Spirit; (1 Corinthians 12:9)
And God hath set some in the church, first apostles, secondarily prophets, thirdly teachers, after that miracles, then gifts of healings, helps, governments, diversities of tongues. (1 Corinthians 12:28)
Have all the gifts of healing? do all speak with tongues? do all interpret? (1 Corinthians 12:30)
God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? (Hebrews 2:4)
I can see that "the falling away" in these end days started in the mid 1800's. The devil knows his days are ending.
Can anyone else see this:
1. After Jesus defeated the devil on the cross reword
The devil tried to prevent the spread of the Gospel.
He used the Roman system to kill the believers and destroy, usually by burning, the true Word of God.
2. He tried to pervert it with old Latin mistranslations and then hide it in his castle in Rome.
I don't believe that the devil knows the future, other than how it is revealed in the Bible. I don't believe that he knew that English was to be a major language in the end days.
So after the English language was, shall we say, stablized, firmed up, finilized, in the 1400 - 1600's the devil had to come up with another plan to defeat man. He could see that God was preserving His Word in the Authorized Version.
The English language was, in the 17th Century, just solidifying. It had been a fluid language, made up of elements of Danish, Old Norse, Latin, Greek, French, and many other dialects.
In about 1500, major changes in vocal pronunciation, inflection, and spelling simplified and helped solidify the language.8 This was all in preparation for the ultimate English work, the Authorized Version of 1611.
http://www.chick.com/reading/books/157/157_04.asp
3. By the mid 1800's the devil was able to persuade men to pervert the true Word of God by several means.
First by changing and perverting the Greek translations. And then using that and 'lost earlier manuscripts' to 'critically analyse' for 'new, better, easier to understand, English bibles.
4. The devil is also trying to deceive man by throwing out our talking to God. (1 Corinthians 14:2) For he that speaketh in an unknown tongue speaketh not unto men, but unto God:
Remember, that the devil has no power except as we let him and as God allows.
Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: (1 Peter 5:8)
(see also word search for 'roaring lion'- all words)
(see also word search for 'heaven word'- all words)
(see also word search for 'word truth'- all words)
We also have the armor of God -
As to - How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter. (2 Corinthians 12:4)
(1 John 3:18) My little children, let us not love in word, neither in tongue; but in deed and in truth.
And the spirits of the prophets are subject to the prophets. (1 Corinthians 14:32)
Are we even taught 'discerning of spirits'?
Truely in the end days we will be taught of God, that is, by God.
It is written in the prophets, And they shall be all taught of God. Every man therefore that hath heard, and hath learned of the Father, cometh unto me. (John 6:45)
But as touching brotherly love ye need not that I write unto you: for ye yourselves are taught of God to love one another. (1 Thessalonians 4:9)
Joh 6:45
Taught of God (didaktoi theou). A free quotation from Isa_54:13 with this phrase in the lxx. There is here the ablative case theou with the passive verbal adjective didaktoi (Robertson, Grammar, p. 516). In 1Th_4:9 we have the compound verbal theodidaktoi. The same use of didaktos with the ablative occurs in 1Co_2:13.
And all thy children shall be taught of the LORD; and great shall be the peace of thy children. (Isaiah 54:13)
Or Saul in 1 Samual 10, 18 & 19 (1 Samuel 10:11, 12; 18:10; 19:20, 21, 24; 28:6, 15; Acts 13:1;
Has anyone done research on the history of the workings of the Holy Spirit, gifts of the Holy Spirit, in particular tongues, prophecy and healings before 1900 - back to Johns revelation? And I don't mean the writings of the Roman cult.
Remember the 'shouting Methodists' and /or the 'primative Methodists'?
I have to reread Foxe's Book of Martyrs and Martyr's Mirror again to see any references. Also, somewhere Wesley refers to 'the French prophets'. There is also the Waldensens.
But don't get me wrong. I'm not trying to prove the Bible right or correct by man's writings. And I am looking to the return of the Lord Jesus

"Thus, it appears that this is not a small issue or one that will go away any time soon. Rankin and those supporting his position are trying to distinguish between public tongues and private, saying that while they are opposed to public tongues they believe there is a private form of tongues that one can use to edify oneself. In fact, biblical tongues are biblical tongues. The tongues of Acts are the tongues of 1 Corinthians 14. They were real languages that a believer could speak supernaturally. They were a sign to the nation Israel that God was going to send the gospel to every nation and create a new spiritual body composed of both Jews and Gentiles (1 Cor. 14:20-22, quoted Isaiah 28:11-13). Each time tongues were spoken in Acts (Acts 2, 8, 10, 19) Jews were present. As the prophet Isaiah foretold, the Jews rejected the sign and were judged. Its purpose ceased even before the events recorded in the book of Acts were completed. The last mention of tongues is in Acts 19. The sign, having been fulfilled, ceased. When John Chrysostom wrote in the 4th century about the sign gifts of 1 Corinthians 12-14, he said: "This whole place is very obscure: but the obscurity is produced by our ignorance of the facts referred to, and BY THEIR CESSATION, being such as then used to occur but now no longer take place" ("Homilies on 1 Corinthians," Vol. XII, The Nicene and Post-Nicene Fathers, Hom. 29:2). There is no "private prayer language" in the New Testament. It is the recent invention of Pentecostals and Charismatics who, having realized that they cannot speak in real tongues that can be interpreted (one of the absolute biblical requirements), were forced either to renounce their experience or to create some sort of cockeyed defense for it. There is not one example of a prayer in the Bible that is uttered in unintelligible mutterings that "bypass the intellect." Jesus Christ did not pray that way and neither did the apostles. I have heard Charismatics speak in their "private prayer language" in churches and conferences in many parts of the world.
Consider Philip:
(Act 8:26) And the angel of the Lord spake unto Philip, saying, Arise, and go toward the south unto the way that goeth down from Jerusalem unto Gaza, which is desert.
Who was he? his background? his education? Was Philip sleeping or sitting when the angel told him to 'Arise,'? What language did Philip speak?
(See study on 'Philip'.)

If this is the 'inspired', 'pure' Word of God; does one believe that the Holy Ghost would know where to put and what he means regarding the spoken words abd the written words of Scripture?

(2 Timothy 3:16-17)
And he said unto them, When ye pray, say, Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done, as in heaven, so in earth. Give us day by day our daily bread. And forgive us our sins; for we also forgive every one that is indebted to us. And lead us not into temptation; but deliver us from evil.
(Luke 11:2-4)
After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread. And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

This is trying to upload my Genesis ppt. It seems to be taking longer than real time.

I'm also watching out the dining room window at the squirrels trying to get on the bird feeder. Dw and I saw one on the feeder awhile ago and scared it off. I've seen two unsuccessful attempts since then.

The ppt didn't upload. It looks like I'll have to convert it to something else.

In the meantime, here is another study:

You believe _

You believe the Creation Story -
You believe the story about Adam and Eve -
You believe the Christmas Story -
You believe the Salvation / Redemption Story -
You believe the Resurrection Story -
You believe the Jesus Story -

Why do you believe these?
OR
How do you know what to believe about these?
Check context---
(John 8:43) Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word.

(John 8:46) Which of you convinceth me of sin? And if I say the truth, why do ye not believe me?

Is it because God spoke it? Is it because it is in the Scriptures? In the Word of God?
(Psalms 73:11) And they say, How doth God know? and is there knowledge in the most High?
You read all of Psalm 73 and read the questions in Job -- (that is a whole study lesson -)

Lets start with the first two and jump right in.
Not into: Creation fact vs evolution theory -
Nor into the factual beginning of time and the factual end of time -

What happened to 'Man'? What happened at the "fall of man"?
Do not elaborate on, but mention this Bible truth. It will be mentioned again later. (1 Timothy 2:14) And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.

What did the serpent say? -Remember this is in the Word of God.-
Genesis 3:1-5
(1) Now the serpent was more subtil than any beast of the field which the LORD God had made. And he said unto the woman, Yea, hath God said, Ye shall not eat of every tree of the garden?
You see who the serpent spoke to and the response to the serpent.
(2) And the woman said unto the serpent, We may eat of the fruit of the trees of the garden:
(3) But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God hath said, Ye shall not eat of it, neither shall ye touch it, lest ye die.
See what the woman added to what God said.
Genesis 2:16-17
(16) And the LORD God commanded the man, saying, Of every tree of the garden thou mayest freely eat:
(17) But of the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, thou shalt not eat of it: for in the day that thou eatest thereof thou shalt surely die.
Note that this was before God created woman.
And then the LIE of the SERPENT -
(4) And the serpent said unto the woman, Ye shall not surely die:
(5) For God doth know that in the day ye eat thereof, then your eyes shall be opened, and ye shall be as gods, knowing good and evil.
The FALL, the SIN and
(Genesis 3:15) And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

Now most of you know why the babies were killed at the time of Moses.
Also, at or near the time of the birth of Jesus how all the
Satan, the devil, was still out to subvert God.

You know the story of
Matthew 4:1
(1) Then was Jesus led up of the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted of the devil.
And then in
Matthew 4:5-7
(5) Then the devil taketh him up into the holy city, and setteth him on a pinnacle of the temple,
(6) And saith unto him, If thou be the Son of God, cast thyself down: for it is written, 'He shall give his angels charge concerning thee (-): and in their hands they shall bear thee up, lest (+ at any time) thou dash thy foot against a stone.
(7) Jesus said unto him, It is written again, Thou shalt not tempt the Lord thy God.
The devil "misquoted"
Psalms 91:11-12
(11) For he shall give his angels charge over thee, (to keep thee in all thy ways).
(12) They shall bear thee up in their hands, lest() thou dash thy foot against a stone.

Now move forward to the days of the Passover, when the Lamb of God, Jesus, was brought before the high priest and examined, and declared without blemish.
Read the question of the Gentile (also known in other parts of the NT as Greek or barbarian) in authority (Roman) over the Jews.
(John 18:38) Pilate saith unto him, What is truth? And when he had said this, he went out again unto the Jews, and saith unto them, I find in him no fault at all.
Read John 18: 12-40

(Matthew 4:10) Then saith Jesus unto him, Get thee hence, Satan: for it is written, Thou shalt worship the Lord thy God, and him only shalt thou serve.

(Matthew 12:26) And if Satan cast out Satan, he is divided against himself; how shall then his kingdom stand?
(See 'Treason' article about new versions correcting what Satan says in Matthew 4:5-7 to Psalms 91:11-12)

(Matthew 16:23) But he turned, and said unto Peter, Get thee behind me, Satan: thou art an offence unto me: for thou savourest not the things that be of God, but those that be of men.

What 'Bible Version', 'Word of God' or 'Scripture' are you going to believe?
Minister doubt:
(1 Timothy 1:4) Neither give heed to fables and endless genealogies, which minister questions, rather than godly edifying which is in faith: so do.

(Romans 14:1) Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations.

Are you men,
as head of the home,
as fathers training up your children in ,
as
Matthew 28:17-20
(17) And when they saw him, they worshipped him: but some doubted.
(18) And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth.
(19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
(20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, (in the Godhead) even unto the end of the world. Amen.

Are you men going to continue to be deceived as the woman was deceived? by '...Yea, hath God said,...'?

Satan is found 37 times in 34 verses in the New Testament of the (AV)Bible.

Now consider a

(Rom 4:3) For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.

(Gal 4:30) Nevertheless what saith the scripture? Cast out the bondwoman and her son: for the son of the bondwoman shall not be heir with the son of the freewoman.

You believe _
As an Evangelical church you believe:
(Mat 28:19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:

(Mat 28:20) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

but do you believe the rest_
(Mar 16:19) So then after the Lord had spoken unto them, he was received up into heaven, and sat on the right hand of God.

(Mar 16:20) And they went forth, and preached every where, the Lord working with them, and confirming the word with signs following. Amen.

Fish, Salad, Beans - (This was what was for dinner)

Now on to some activity in the animal world.

Gen 2:19 And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.

Oh, and then it looks like in the latter days must have not liked what Adam called them. Or was it just a Dr. WHO change?
Isaiah 34:1-17 NKJV (A Dr. WHO book)

1 Come near, you nations, to hear; And heed, you people! Let the earth hear, and all that is in it, The world and all things that come forth from it. 2 For the indignation of the LORD is against all nations, And His fury against all their armies; He has utterly destroyed them, He has given them over to the slaughter. 3 Also their slain shall be thrown out; Their stench shall rise from their corpses, And the mountains shall be melted with their blood. 4 All the host of heaven shall be dissolved, And the heavens shall be rolled up like a scroll; All their host shall fall down As the leaf falls from the vine, And as fruit falling from a fig tree. 5 “ For My sword shall be bathed in heaven; Indeed it shall come down on Edom, And on the people of My curse, for judgment. 6 The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, It is made overflowing with fatness, With the blood of lambs and goats, With the fat of the kidneys of rams. For the LORD has a sacrifice in Bozrah, And a great slaughter in the land of Edom. 7 The wild oxen shall come down with them, And the young bulls with the mighty bulls; Their land shall be soaked with blood, And their dust saturated with fatness.” 8 For it is the day of the LORD’s vengeance, The year of recompense for the cause of Zion. 9 Its streams shall be turned into pitch, And its dust into brimstone; Its land ()shall become burning pitch. 10 It shall not be quenched night or day; Its smoke shall ascend forever. From generation to generation it shall lie waste; No one shall pass through it forever and ever. 11 But the pelican and the porcupine shall possess it, Also the owl and the raven shall dwell in it. And He shall stretch out over it The line of confusion and the stones of emptiness. 12 They shall call its nobles () to the kingdom, But none shall be there, and all its princes shall be nothing. 13 And thorns shall come up in its palaces, Nettles and brambles in its fortresses; It shall be a habitation of jackals, A courtyard for ostriches. 14 The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with () the jackals, And the wild goat shall bleat to its companion; Also the night creature shall rest there, And find for herself a place of rest. 15 There the arrow snake shall make her nest and lay eggs And hatch, and gather them under her shadow; There also shall the hawks be gathered, Every one with her mate. 16 “ Search from the book of the LORD, and read: Not one of these shall fail; Not one shall lack her mate. For My mouth has commanded it, and His Spirit has gathered them. 17 He has cast the lot for them, And His hand has divided it among them with a measuring line. They shall possess it forever; From generation to generation they shall dwell in it.”
- Is the above confusing? Was it willfully so? Is it a small or large lie?

The following is what the True Word of God says:
Isaiah 34:1-17 KJV
Come near, ye nations, to hear; and hearken, ye people: let the earth hear, and all that is therein; the world, and all things that come forth of it.
(2) For the indignation of the LORD is upon all nations, and his fury upon all their armies: he hath utterly destroyed them, he hath delivered them to the slaughter.
(3) Their slain also shall be cast out, and their stink shall come up out of their carcases, and the mountains shall be melted with their blood.
(4) And all the host of heaven shall be dissolved, and the heavens shall be rolled together as a scroll: and all their host shall fall down, as the leaf falleth off from the vine, and as a falling fig from the fig tree.
(5) For my sword shall be bathed in heaven: behold, it shall come down upon Idumea, and upon the people of my curse, to judgment.
(6) The sword of the LORD is filled with blood, it is made fat with fatness, and with the blood of lambs and goats, with the fat of the kidneys of rams: for the LORD hath a sacrifice in Bozrah, and a great slaughter in the land of Idumea.
(7) And the unicorns shall come down with them, and the bullocks with the bulls; and their land shall be soaked with blood, and their dust made fat with fatness.
(8) For it is the day of the LORD'S vengeance, and the year of recompences for the controversy of Zion.
(9) And the streams thereof shall be turned into pitch, and the dust thereof into brimstone, and the land thereof shall become burning pitch.
(10) It shall not be quenched night nor day; the smoke thereof shall go up for ever: from generation to generation it shall lie waste; none shall pass through it for ever and ever.
(11) But the cormorant and the bittern shall possess it; the owl also and the raven shall dwell in it: and he shall stretch out upon it the line of confusion, and the stones of emptiness.
(12) They shall call the nobles thereof to the kingdom, but none shall be there, and all her princes shall be nothing.
(13) And thorns shall come up in her palaces, nettles and brambles in the fortresses thereof: and it shall be an habitation of dragons, and a court for owls.
(14) The wild beasts of the desert shall also meet with the wild beasts of the island, and the satyr shall cry to his fellow; the screech owl also shall rest there, and find for herself a place of rest.
(15) There shall the great owl make her nest, and lay, and hatch, and gather under her shadow: there shall the vultures also be gathered, every one with her mate.
(16) Seek ye out of the book of the LORD, and read: no one of these shall fail, none shall want her mate: for my mouth it hath commanded, and his spirit it hath gathered them.
(17) And he hath cast the lot for them, and his hand hath divided it unto them by line: they shall possess it for ever, from generation to generation shall they dwell therein.
